#2CAUDIO AETHER VS B2 UPDATE#

Perhaps it's just because the Breeze 2 update was that good? I still have no idea if B2 needs anything like Precedence, or why they're never mentioned together. I would still regret it collecting dust, should I end up as yet another user head-over-heels for B2. If it were possible to give away or reasonably sell Phoenixverb (I feel it cannot be reasonably sold at this point given the frequent PB sales), then buying Nimbus would be all the easier.

If I could afford to be, I would be a reverb fiend. I'm sure that won't completely destroy the detail of the strings, of course. Close mics on SCS still have a fairly considerable amount of tail, though subdued I haven't yet tried the magnificent SPL De-verb on them yet, however. But soonish I'll be owning CSS and possibly other dry libraries, and I think that's when Precedence will really show up. well, they aren't (SCS, Abbey Road + Aperture Orchestra). Presently, my only dry-sounding libraries are. I recognize the connected instances is a big selling point in the combination. So basically GAS is justified, right, since I write a lot of styles, right? That purple UI on Sonsig, mmmmmĬlick to expand. Thanks for the reply! I've also seen Panagement mentioned, and I don't know how it compares. As much as I'd love to have a sweet collection of reverbs, I don't really want to go spending money on redundant software, and I'm sure the most steel-willed among you will recognize I'll probably live without Nimbus for a few months while I save up and prepare for the next 2cAudio sale, as I own Phoenixverb and R4.įor anyone wondering the use case, I'm writing orchestral/experimental electronic/film-scoring-style / - style. It'd be all too easy to go and pick up Nimbus right now, at $30, since I'm saving for a new computer otherwise and can't afford to spend money on the 2cAudio collection just yet. Pointless? I don't know!), but I don't want to buy Nimbus if it's going to be completely overshadowed by B2 alone, and I hear incredible things about B2 (and haven't gotten to demoing yet, as my time the past few weeks has been very tight).

Is Precedence the only software that can perform its niche as well as it does and does it make any difference using it alongside B2 or Aether instead of just Breeze2? What's the difference between 2cAudio's reverbs? Nimbus, at $30 for another 17 hours, is something I'm considering picking up, and I don't know if Nimbus' ER parameters make it a solid contender for the Precedence/Breeze combo (or Precedence/B2?. I don't really get, yet, how 2cAudio's products work together.
